NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene women's soccer team (2-3-3, 0-1-3 GSC) battled to a 1-1 draw with Valdosta State (1-3-4, 0-2-1 GSC) on Sunday afternoon at the Trojan Soccer Complex.

With the result, Trevecca moves to 0-1-1 all-time against Valdosta State.
THE MATCH
Valdosta State struck first in the 33rd minute when Katherine Kimmel finished her first goal of the season to give the Blazers a 1-0 lead. The Trojans responded after halftime, leveling the match in the 76th minute when
Anny Mitra netted her first goal of the season, assisted by
Noelle Garcia.
Despite being outshot 16–6 overall, Trevecca was efficient in front of goal, putting two shots on frame and converting one. Goalkeeper Ballie Fiore collected five saves to help preserve the draw as VSU applied late pressure with nine corner kicks on the afternoon.
