NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A pair of second-half goals proved costly as Trevecca Nazarene women's soccer (2-3-1, 0-1-1 GSC) dropped a 2-0 decision to Alabama-Huntsville (4-1-1, 2-0-1 GSC) Sunday afternoon at the Trojan Soccer Complex.

With the loss, Trevecca falls to 1-3-0 all-time against Alabama-Huntsville.
THE MATCH
The game remained deadlocked through the first half, with both teams creating chances but unable to break through. UAH got on the board in the 59th minute after a cross into the box deflected off a Trevecca defender for an own goal.
The Chargers added to their lead in the 82nd minute when Katey Ann Klingel capitalized on a rebound and finished from close range to make it 2-0.
Trevecca held its own statistically, matching UAH with
15 total shots and forcing
six saves from Charger keeper CeCe Szopa. Ballie Fiore recorded
five saves in goal for the Trojans, three of which came in the second half.
