PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (6-13, 4-8 GSC) finished a three-game series with the University of West Florida at Jim Spooner Field on Saturday morning.
West Florida (13-8, 9-3 GSC) beat the Trojans 10-4 to complete the three-game sweep of the Trojans.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UWF 10, TNU 4
West Florida grabbed an early lead in the second inning after a ground out RBI made it 1-0 Argonauts. Trevecca sent just one over the minimum to the plate in the third and fourth innings as UWF made it 3-0 with a two-run single in the bottom of the fourth.
Both sides went quietly in the fifth and sixth innings, respectively before a combined six run seventh innings. Trevecca scored three off a sac bunt, single and a wild pitch while the Argonauts touched home thrice via a ground out and a single. A throwing error in the eighth allowed the Trojans to make it a 6-4 game before the hosts plated four in the bottom half of the inning. Highlighted by a three-run shot to right field, the game was out of reach for Trevecca who fell, 10-4.
