Trevecca Athletics | Trojans Hainline and Grant Selected AVCA All-South Region

NASHVILLE – Two Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball players have been selected to the 2025 AVCA NCAA Division II South Region Team. Seniors Skias Hainline and Katilyn Grant helped lead Trevecca to 22 victories this fall—the program's most wins in a season since 2012—and to an appearance in the Gulf South Conference Championship finals.

 

Additionally, the duo helped Trevecca set a new record with 15 conference wins and finish second in the Gulf South after being picked sixth in the preseason coaches' poll, match the school record with a 10-match win streak, and opened league play 9–0, the best conference start in school history.

Hainline earned spots on both the 2025 Gulf South All-Conference First Team and the 2025 Gulf South All-Tournament Team. She recorded 14 double-doubles and surpassed 1,000 assists for the second consecutive season.

 

She finished the year ranked No. 2 on Trevecca's Division II–era career assists list with 2,510 and set the program's single-season assists record with 1,187. Nationally, she concluded the year inside the NCAA Division II top 20 in total assists and triple-doubles. She also ranked No. 2 in the Gulf South in both total assists and assists per set.

 

Career Totals: 2,510 assists, 711 digs, 242 kills, 123 blocks, 95 aces.

Grant provided major production in her first season with Trevecca, earning 2025 Gulf South All-Conference First Team honors and Gulf South Player of the Week recognition on Sept. 30.

 

She posted double-digit kills in 19 matches and set a new program record for solo blocks in a season. Grant led the Trojans in attack percentage, total blocks, and solo blocks.

 

Within the Gulf South, she finished the season inside the top three in attack percentage, points per set, and kills, and inside the top eight in both kills per set and blocks per set.

 

Including her prior seasons at Mars Hill, Grant now holds 799 career kills and 268 career blocks.
