MOBILE, Ala. – The Trevecca Nazarene men's soccer team (3-4-1, 1-4 GSC) was unable to find the back of the net in a 2-0 defeat to Spring Hill College (1-4-1, 1-2-1 GSC) on Friday afternoon in Mobile.
THE SERIES
The all-time series between Trevecca and Spring Hill is now even at 1-1.
THE MATCH
Spring Hill broke through in the 27th minute when Bryce Barrere finished a low shot to give the Badgers a 1-0 lead. The hosts doubled their advantage in the 76th minute on a strike from Quinn Carper that sealed the result.
Trevecca managed eight shots, but only one tested the keeper, while Spring Hill put six of their eight efforts on frame. The Trojans held a 6–2 edge in corner kicks but couldn't convert on set piece opportunities.
Defensively, Trevecca battled through a physical match with 13 fouls against SHC and three yellow cards issued to each side.
