PENSACOLA, Fla. — Trevecca Nazarene men's soccer (3-5-1, 1-5 GSC) fell behind early and couldn't recover against West Florida (6-1-2, 3-1-2 GSC), dropping a 4-0 result Sunday afternoon at the UWF Soccer Complex.
THE SERIES
With the loss, the Trojans fall to 0–3 all-time against the Argonauts.
THE MATCH
West Florida wasted no time jumping out to a lead, finding the back of the net just over three minutes into the match behind Kendrick Hernandez's first of three goals on the day. Hernandez struck again in the 18th minute and completed his hat trick with a penalty kick in the 23rd.
The Argos added one more in the 36th minute as Callum Edwards capped the scoring off a setup from Ismael Castillo, giving West Florida a commanding 4-0 lead by halftime.
Trevecca finished with six shots (three on goal) but couldn't crack the UWF defense. The Trojans were also called for 18 fouls on the day.

The Trojans return home for a non-conference match against Tusculum (2-5-1, 1-3-1 SAC) on Wednesday (Oct. 8) at 6:00 p.m.
