NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (1-2-1, 0-1-1 GSC) earned their first-ever Gulf South Conference point with a 2-2 draw against the University of West Alabama (1-3-1, 0-1-1 GSC).
THE SERIES
This was the first ever matchup between Tigers and Trojans in women's soccer.
THE GAME
In a thrilling contest, Trevecca struck first in the 52nd minute when
Skye Baun netted her first goal of the season, assisted by
Natalia Bowles.
However, West Alabama responded with two quick goals. Abbey Roberts leveled the score in the 76th minute, assisted by Lily Graham, and just moments later, Aileen Charles put the Tigers ahead, assisted by Shayan Graff and Karlie Denius.
The Trojans fought back, and in the 84th minute, Baun completed her brace with a crucial equalizer, assisted by
Kaylee Maners, to secure the 2-2 draw and their first-ever GSC point.

The Trojan will have another two-game-week and will be on the road visiting Valdosta State University (3-3-0, 0-1-0 GSC) Friday at 6:00 p.m., and Auburn University Montgomery (2-2-0, 0-1-0 GSC) Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
