NASHVILLE - Jodie Taylor and Gabriela Mead, two members of the Trevecca Nazarene University women's golf team, are on the 2023-2024 All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference Team.
Jodie Taylor
Taylor had a season average of 79.05. This places her at eighth all-time for a season average.
She played nine total events playing 20 rounds. This ties her record she set last season and keeps her place tied for sixth place all-time. She also had a season-best 36-hole total of 155 at the King University Invitational.
She had a historic shooting performance, shooting a 79-78-77=234. It is tied for the 12th lowest round in program history. Her career best is a 231 shot at last year's Great Midwest Championships.
She finished the season with 22 birdies with six of them coming in the Great Midwest Championships.
She had a lowest round of the year with a score of 75 at the Champions of Women's Golf Invitational. This was the third-lowest round on the team for the year.
Gabriela Mead
Mead had a season average of 81.7 in nine events playing a total of 20 rounds. This puts her at a tie of sixth place all-time for rounds played.
She had a total of 24 birdies this season having her tied at 11th place all-time for total birdies in a season.
Her 36-hole best was a total of 82-72=154 at the Bearcat Invite.
She was tied for the lowest 54-hole on the team with a total of 82-72-84=238 at the Bearcat Invite.
She had a 71 for her lowest round of the season. This places her tied for third all-time for lowest round.
