NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (17-14, 10-6 Great Midwest) finished up a weekend series against Walsh University (17-9, 10-3 Great Midwest), dropping both games at Biery Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Trevecca leads the all-time series with Walsh, 9-8.
HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME ONE
Walsh used a solo home run in the bottom of the first to take a lead which it held for the entire seven inning contest. A three-run bases clearing triple in the third gave the hosts a 4-0 lead.
Josh Griffin got the Trojans on the board in the fifth with an RBI single to left field while the only other Trevecca run came in the seventh off an
Abbott Lawrence ground out. Walsh grabbed at least a series tie with its 4-2 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME TWO
With one out in the top of the first, Cole McCallum smashed a three-run shot to give the Trojans a 3-0 lead. Walsh got one run back in the bottom of the first off an RBI double to center field. A two-run third inning for the Cavaliers tied the game at 3-3.
Abbott Lawrence went yard for the Trojans in the fourth to grab the lead back, before Walsh scored the games' next seven runs. Five off a combined two home runs and the others off an error. An RBI single in the eighth and two more runs in the ninth closed the scoring, but the Trojans could not close the gap falling 10-8.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE – GAME TWO

* Cole McCallum was 2-5 with a run scored and five RBIs.
* Joey Parliment went 3-4 and scored two runs.
* Aden Napier was 2-3 with an RBI.
* Logan Harrell (2-1) started and went five innings, striking out seven, while allowing five earned runs.
UP NEXT
The Trojans head to Owensboro, Kentucky for a four-game series with Kentucky Wesleyan College (13-18, 11-3 Great Midwest) beginning on Friday, April 12.
First pitch with the Panthers is set for 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Trevecca owns a 22-15 lead in the all-time series having won three of the last four meetings.
