HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (20-16, 13-7 Great Midwest) lost a mid-week road non-conference affair at Lincoln Memorial University (25-15) at Lamar Hennon Field.

The Railsplitters lead the all-time series 9-2 with the win. It is the seventh consecutive win for LMU over the Trojans.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Trojans got on the board first scoring a run on a bases loaded walk. Lincoln Memorial responded with a three-run bottom of the first, including two bases loaded walks. In the second, the Trojans tied the game at 3-3 when
Joey Parliment doubled to score
Andru Becker and
Haven Mangrum doubled home Parliment. Trevecca scored two more in the top of the third, taking a 5-3 lead. Andy Napier scored
Josh Griffin on a sac fly and
Andru Becker singled home
Roland Ryan. Unfortunately, the Railsplitters did all the scoring the rest of the game, putting 11 unanswered runs on the board for a 14-5 win.

Trevecca hosts Cedarville University (9-26, 5-13 Great Midwest) this weekend, April 19-20, at Jackson Field - Friday at 2 PM and Saturday at Noon. The Yellowjackets and Trojans are founding members of the Great Midwest and have the longest head-to-head series. The Trojans lead the series 40-7. Three of CU's seven wins have come in the last seven meetings.
Trevecca visits Carson-Newman University (22-18) Tuesday, April 23 at 3 PM in Jefferson City, TN. The Eagles lead the all-time series, during the NCAA Division II era, 4-2.
Their final two Great Midwest series are on the road at Thomas More University and Ohio Dominican University.
The Thomas More (11-28, 4-20 Great Midwest) series is April 26-27 in Florence, Ky. This is the first meeting between the Trojans and Saints. The Saints are in their first season in the Great Midwest.
The final series is May 2-3 at Ohio Dominican (18-16, 9-9 Great Midwest) in Columbus, Ohio. Trevecca leads the all-time series 15-5, but ODU has won the last two games in the series.
