AZUSA, Calif. – The Trevecca Nazarene University track and field teams completed their week in California at three different meets - the Bryan Clay Invitational, the La Verne Leopard Distance Carnival, and the Pacific Coast Invitational.
 
The trip west started with action on Thursday at the Pacific Coast Invitational and on Friday there were Trojans competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational and the La Verne Leopard Distance Carnival.
 
On Saturday, a bigger group of Trojans competed at the Bryan Clay Invite to complete the West Coast trip.

On Friday, the Trojans spread out over two meets and had another solid performance across the lineup. Two Trojans, Shane West and Ashley Alsvig ran in their respective 5,000m Run events at the La Verne (University) Leopard Distance Carnival.

Lucas Baggott lowered his provisional qualifying time in the 400m Hurdles on Thursday, posting a 52.94. He turned in a 53.17 at the Raleigh Relays two weeks ago, also under the 53:37 provisional standard (sea level). The new lower time places Baggott with the 18th best time in Division II this year.
