NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (16-10, 9-3 Great Midwest) finished a four-game sweep ofHillsdale College (9-17, 4-8 Great Midwest), taking both games at Jackson Field on Saturday.

Trevecca leads the all-time series with Hillsdale, 16-9, having won 10 of the last 11 games and five straight meetings.
HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME ONE
The Trojans fell into a five-run hole after a home run in the first and a double by the Chargers in the second. Trevecca got three runs back in the bottom of the second and one more in the thirdoff an
Abbott Lawrence solo home run. Both sides scored in the fourth, Hillsdale off a home run and Trevecca via an RBI single to left. Hillsdale doubled its lead to 10-5 in the sixth with a four-run inning before the Trojans received a ground out to score a run in the bottom half of the sixth. After a bases loaded walk extended the Charger lead to 11-7, the Trojans walked it off in the seventh with a five run frame.
Joey Parliment reached on a fielder's choice as
Josh Griffin scored the winning run.

Andru Becker went 2-4 with three RBIs from the lead-off spot.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME TWO
Hillsdale grabbed the early 1-0 lead in the top of the first off an RBI single before the Trojans responded with a three-run home half. A run scoring single and a triple that scored two gave Trevecca a lead they did not relinquish the rest of the way. The lead grew to 4-1 after a run in the second before Hillsdale got its second run of the game in the third. The Trojans matched that effort and even doubled it with a two spot in the bottom of the third. Trevecca's lead grew to 9-2 in the fourth when a three-runinning was highlighted by
Haven Mangrum's solo shot to right center field. Three run scoring singles and a
Cole McCallum three-run shot to right center gave the Trojans a 15-2 lead in the sixth. Hillsdale tacked on one more in the seventh but could not surmount the Trojan 13 run advantage.
