NASHVILLE – For the third time this season, Trevecca freshman striker,
Chris Douglas, has earned a Player of the Week selection after securing the Tennessee Sports Writer's Association's (TSWA) recognition on Tuesday.
Douglas, a two-time Gulf South Conference Player of the Week candidate, scored a goal and added two assists for a four-point week.
The St. Johns, Antigua native put a capper on the Trojans' 4-2 win over Union after having already assisted on both of the first two goals of the match,
The win over the Bulldogs punched the Trojans' ticket into their first-ever Gulf South Conference tournament appearance as well as their first postseason appearance since 2017.
Douglas leads Trevecca with six goals which is eighth best in the GSC with a total of 15 points which is tied for 10th in the league.
