NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (2-4-2, 1-2-2 GSC) suffered a 2-1 loss to Spring Hill College (4-4-2, 1-2-2 GSC) on Sunday afternoon at the Trojan Soccer Complex. Despite taking an early lead, the Trojans were unable to hold off the Badgers in the second half.
THE SERIES
This was the first-ever meeting between the Trojans and Spring Hill College in women's soccer.
THE GAME
Trevecca opened the scoring in the 29th minute when senior
Katelyn Keogh found the back of the net, giving the Trojans a 1-0 advantage.
Spring Hill, however, came out strong in the second half, with Hailey Blanott scoring the equalizer just two minutes into the period, leveling the match at 1-1 in the 47th minute.
Blanott was again involved in the game-winner, assisting Felicia Ajayi's goal in the 56th minute, which put the Badgers ahead 2-1.

The Trojans will look to bounce back when they host Lee University (3-3-3, 3-1-1 GSC) on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Trojan Soccer Complex.
