NASHVILLE - The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (3-3-3, 3-0-3 Great Midwest) beat Lake Erie College (1-7-1, 0-5-0 Great Midwest), 1-0, at the Trevecca Soccer Complex. The Trojans remain undefeated in league play.
The Great Midwest battle with the Storm was scoreless until 84:54 when Trevecca's
Faith Gober scored her first goal of the season, assisted by
Grace Oliver.
Lake Erie had several scoring attempts, but they were all denied. Trevecca's goalkeeper,
Bailie Fiore, shut down three shots on goal by the Storm.
Bailie Fiore has a career high of 37 saves so far this season.
Lake Erie's Morgan Vanmeter shut down seven of eight shots on goal by the Trojans.
Trevecca had eight corner kicks to Lake Erie's five.

Trevecca starts a string of five consecutive matches on the road, first up is a trip to Findlay, Ohio for a match with the University of Findlay (3-3-2, 3-1-0 Great Midwest) on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 3:00 PM CST.
Then they head to Cedarville University (Oct. 7), Kentucky Wesleyan College (Oct. 10), Walsh University (Oct. 19), and finish the string of road matches at Ohio Dominican University (Oct. 21).
