NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (2-4-1, 1-2-1 Great Midwest) beat visiting Ashland University (1-5-1, 1-1-1 Great Midwest) with a thrilling come-from-behind win, 2-1, at the Trevecca Soccer Complex.
Oliver Whaley scored first for the Eagles, early in the second half at 46:19 on an assist by Oliver Lovell.
Trevecca got the equalizer from Jacob
Seiber at 61:08 with an assist from his brother Ben
Seiber.
Just over ten minutes later,
Jack Franklin scored at 71:44 on an assist again from Ben
Seiber.
Adan Gonzalez had six saves on seven Eagle shots on goal. The Eagles had seven corner kicks to the Trojans lone corner in the first half. Zach Harrison had five saves in goal.
