Box Score CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (1-4-1, 0-2-1 Great Midwest) lost ,1-0, on the road at Thomas More University (3-2-1, 1-0-1 Great Midwest) in a conference match. The first ever meeting for the two men's programs. TMU is a newcomer to the Great Midwest this season and a recent addition to NCAA Division II athletics. The Saints were picked eighth in the preseason conference poll.

Julen Egmond scored the first unassisted goal of the game for the Saints in the 21st minute. The Saints saved two of the four shot attempts from the Trojans in the first half. The Saints led 1-0 at intermission. The second half resulted in no goals from both sides. 

Adan Gonzalez collected two saves of the Saints five shot attempts. Emilio Rodriquez collected four saves of the Trojans ten shot attempts.

The Trojans continue Great Midwest play on Thursday, September 21, at Ashland University (4-1). Kickoff with the Eagles is set for 4:30 PM (CT) on the Hill.
