TIFFIN, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (0-3-1, 0-0-1 Great Midwest) came away with a 2-2 tie in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference season opener at Tiffin University (1-1-2, 0-0-2 Great Midwest) at Paradiso Fields.
Trevecca is 5-0-1 versus Tiffin all-time, this is the first draw in the series with the Dragons.
The Trojans scored their first goal in the 13th minute when
Katelyn Keogh assisted
Skye Baun with her first goal of the season.
The Dragons responded with a goal in the 29th minute of the game. Amanda Feury assisted Kennedy Hollerbach to score the last goal in the first half. Both teams tied 1-1 at intermission.
The second half,
Katie Whiting assisted
Katelyn Keogh with a goal in the 50th-minute of the game. With one goal and an assist, Keogh had a three-point match.
Amanda Feury scored the last goal of the game for the Dragons in the 50th minute of the game. She was assisted by Bradley Tatum. The game resulted in a draw, the first of the season for the Trojans.
Bailie Fiore collected three saves on the Dragons' five shots on goal.
UP NEXT
The Trojans continue Great Midwest play on Saturday, September 16, at Thomas More University (1-1). Kickoff with the Saints is set for 9:00 AM (CT) in Crestview, KY. It is the second G-MAC game of the year for the Saints. The Saints are picked sixth in the league.
