NASHVILLE - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team won its 2023 Trevecca Homecoming exhibition game with Rhodes College, 103-63, on Saturday before a full house at Trojan Fieldhouse.

BREAKING IT DOWN
Trevecca opened the game with 15-0 run and never really looked back. The Trojans led 19-3 at the 15:18 mark.
Jalen Page (8) and Pete Lambesis, Jr. (7) were the fuel in the start for the Purple and White. The Trojans hit eight of their first ten shots and went 3-4 from deep. Trevecca led by 17 (51-34) at the half.
Trevecca continued to build on their lead in the second half and led by 30 or more for most of the final six minutes and reached their largest led of the game (40) with when
Spencer White drained a three-pointer with :26 left on the clock.
KEY PLAYERS
Jalen Page and Pete Lambesis, Jr. each scored 19 points to lead the team in scoring - both were 7-10 from the field. Page drained 4-6 from deep while Lambesis hit 2-3. Page led TNU with eight rebounds and added two steals. Lambesis dished out three assists and two take always.
Drew Blackston (12) ad Jamal Cannady (10) also reached double figures in scoring. Cannady had a team-high five assists and added six rebounds.
TEAM TIME
Trevecca outscored Rhodes 51-34 in the first half and 52-29 in the second half. The Trojans shot 51.3% (39-76) from the field, 40% (14-35) from deep, adn 78.6% (11-14) from the foul line.
UP NEXT
On Friday, November 10, Trevecca faces Southwest Baptist University at 7:30 PM in the first of two games at the Midwest Region Crossover at SBU in Bolivar, Mo. On Saturday, the Trojans take on Drury University at 4:30 PM.
