NASHVILLE - The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team (2-1) secured a non-conference road win at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (1-2), 60-57. It is the first of three games against Gulf South Conference team, the conference the Trojans will play in beginning next season.

UP NEXT
Next, Trevecca plays the second of three consecutive games against future Gulf South Conference foes. Not only are they GSC members, but two of the three are predicted to finish 1-2 in the league. TNU finishes the week at Lee University (0-2) on Saturday (Nov. 18) when they visit the Flames at 1:00 PM. Lee is picked second in the GSC after tying with Union for the regular season title last year. They advanced to the GSC Championship game, falling the Union. But they advanced to the NCAA South Region where they advanced to the semifinals.
The next home game at Trojan Fieldhouse brings No. 7 Union University (4-0) to the Music City. The Bulldogs, picked to win the league, won the GSC Championship last year and advanced to the NCAA South Region semifinals.
