Box Score 1 CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The
Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (3-7-1, 2-5-1 Great Midwest) lost on the road at Cedarville University (6-2-3, 3-1-3 Great Midwest), 4-2, at the Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex.
Cedarville took the early lead at 11:32 when Caleb Knight, assisted by Matthew Weller, scored the first goal. Alex Long added a second goal on a penalty shot at 16:00.
In less than a minute, they added a third goal shot by Michael Catanzarite found the back of the net. Cedarville took a 3-0 at the half.
Ten minutes into the 2nd half,
Ben Singer put Trevecca on the scoreboard. Then at 71:52,
Sam Barrionuevo was assisted by Marlon Grossman to add another goal.
Cedarville capped off the win at 73:14 when Jackson Baker added their fourth goal with the assistance of Michael Catanzarite.
In a total of 22 shots, the Trojans tallied 10 while Cedarville attempted 12. Trojans were 2-2 in their shots on goal while Cedarville was 4-5.
