NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (5–8-1, 4–6-1 Great Midwest) lost on the road at Walsh University (6-5-2, 4-5-1 Great Midwest), 2-1, at Larry Staudt Field.
 
Trevecca's Marlon Grossmann, who is the reigning Great Midwest Offensive Player of the Week, continued his hot streak, scoring the Trojan's only goal at 24:36. He has five goals in the last three matches. 

Despite multiple attempts, neither team could find the net for the remainder of the first half, leaving the score at 1-0 in favor of the Trojan's.

Early in the second stanza, Bobby Moore, assisted by Nathan Kolke, scored the first goal for the Cavaliers at 59:13, leveling the match at 1-1.

The game remained tied until the final seconds when Moore came through with the game winner for the Cavaliers scoring his second goal at 89:24, securing the win for Walsh.

Trevecca's goalie, Giuliano Palma, made six (6) saves and Walsh's goalie, Charlie Walker, made five (5). Trevecca had a total of 11 shots where six (6) were on goal while Walsh had 16 shots where nine (9) were on goal.

With his goal tonight, Marlon Grossmann has nine (9) goals on the season and 17 in his career. Grossmann's nine goals are one short of the Trevecca NCAA Era season record of ten (10) set by Jonathan Baskin in the very first NCAA season, 2012. Grossman scored eight (8) goals last season.
 
Grossmann has 21 points on the season, third most in a season in the Trevecca NCAA Era. With his 18 points last season, he has 39 in his career ranking him tied for fourth in the NCAA Era.
 
Ben Singer is moving up the career records as well. Singer, who has two goals and five points this season, has 12 career goals and is ranked tenth in the NCAA Era for goals. His 28 career points ranking him 12th.
