Box Score ROME, Ga. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (2-1-0) continued its first road trip of the season with a 4-1 loss to Shorter University (3-0-0).

Shorter has the all-time series lead and extends it to 4-1.
THE MATCH
Shorter came out strong in the first half as they scored the game's opening goal just under 11 minutes into the game. Following the goal, the Trojans mounted some momentum which culminated in a goal by Ben Sieber in the 28th minute to tie the game at 1-1.
Momentum changed quickly. However, a few minutes later, Shorter would take the lead on an own goal by the Trojans. The game slowed down following the own goal until the second half, when Shorter extended their lead to 3-1 in the 76th minute. Shorter put the game away in the 87th minute with a goal to make it 4-1.

Trevecca returns to action on Thursday when they host at Tiffin (0-1) at 4:30 PM.
