Box Score NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-7, 3-6 Great Midwest) hosted Ohio Dominican University (3-6-3, 3-4-2 Great Midwest) and won 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
THE SERIES
The Trojans have tied the all-time series 2-2 against Ohio Dominican. The Trojans fell in the meeting last season on October 23rd at Trojan Soccer Complex by a score of 2-1.
THE MATCH
Trevecca started strong in the first half as Ben Singer hit the post on a shot in the fifth minute. The Trojans kept the pressure on and tallied 10 shots in the first half. Ohio Dominican was awarded a penalty shot late in the half but missed it to the left. Trevecca again hit the post on a late chance as time was winding down. The Trojan's defense kept Ohio Dominican from having a shot on goal in the first half and had three of their own. But neither team was able to tally a goal.
Ethan Kraynak was busy in the second half as the Trojan offense continued to test him frequently. Marlon Grossmann broke through with 22 minutes left in the half to break the ice. Following the goal, the floodgates were opened. Ben Singer made it 2-0 in the 86th minute on a penalty shot. Singer would tally again less than two minutes later to put the game away and give the Trojans the 3-0 win.

Trevecca will travel to Walsh (7-4-2, 4-4-1 Great Midwest) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. before heading to Malone University (3-9, 1-7 Great Midwest) on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
