Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-8, 3-7 Great Midwest) traveled to Walsh University (8-5-3, 5-5-2 Great Midwest) and fell 1-0 on Thursday afternoon.
THE SERIES
Walsh leads the all-time series 5-2-1. Trevecca won their first meeting since 2018 earlier this season with a 3-1 win on October 6th at Trojan Soccer Complex.
THE MATCH
The first half was a battle of attrition, as neither team could get good chances on offense. Trevecca got the first shot of the game in the 21st minute, but Walsh goalkeeper Charlie Walker made the save. The Trojans tallied two more shots in the half to Walsh's one shot.
The offense picked up a bit in the second half, but Adan Gonzalez and Charlie Walker remained stout. The game was very even as the Trojans had eight shots to Walsh's nine shots.The Trojans had three shots on goal in the second half, but could not get one past Walsh. Walsh broke through with a late goal in the 85th minute to make it 1-0.

Trevecca will face Malone University (3-10, 1-8 Great Midwest) on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pioneer Soccer Field.
