THE MATCH
In the match's opening minutes, Tadg McEvoy just nearly missed putting away the Trojans' best opportunity of the half as the defender couldn't quite get his head on a ball played into the far post by Shane Cronin. The Bulldogs collected the lone goal of the half minutes later when William Valencia scored his second goal of the season as the clock passed the 10th minute. Despite maintaining a decent amount of the second-half possession, the Trojans conceded once again when David Hurtado scored 78th minute as the Bulldogs hung on for a 2-0 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Despite taking only two shots in the first half, the Bulldogs found their feet in the second, registering 13 shots.
Mats Fredriksen collected the matches only caution as he picked up a yellow card in the 81st minute.
