Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio– The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-9-1, 4-8-1 Great Midwest) fell to Walsh University (11-3-3, 8-3-2 Great Midwest), by a score of 4-2 while on the road on Saturday.

THE SERIES
After going to double overtime in their meeting earlier this season, Walsh wins again to make the series 4-1-1 in favor of Walsh University
THE MATCH
After a solid performance against Ashland on Thursday the Trojans looked to keep in the win column as the season winds down to a close. Unfortunately for the Trojans, Walsh would come out on all cylinders. Walsh would score two goals within the first 15 minutes of the game, the first one being just seven minutes in. Trevecca had some chances but were not able to capitalize on any in the first half. The Trojans were outshot eight to seven in the first half, and Walsh would have a four to three advantage in shots on goal. Both teams totaled 13 fouls with seven for the Trojans.
After being dominated on the scoresheet in the first half, the Trojans finally responded, and Michael Jones would tally and make the game 2-1. Jacob Sieber would collect an assist on Michael's goal. However, the Cavaliers regained their two-goal lead in the 78th minute. The Trojans responded a minute and 46 seconds later to cut the deficit down. But a last-minute goal by the Cavaliers would put the game out of reach.
