THE SERIES
The Trojans now trail the all time series 1-2 against Ohio Dominican.
THE MATCH
Trevecca came out looking to have a better game than they did on Thursday against Cedarville. In the first half they played with passion, and it showed on the stat sheet. The Trojans outshot Ohio Dominican 9-6 and had a 3-2 advantage in shots on goal. However, neither team was able to score. Ohio Dominican ended up with three offsides to Trevecca's none and had three fouls to the Trojan's two. The Trojans had a very good scoring chance with two minutes remaining in the half, but Ohio Dominican goalkeeper Alvaro Benito made a great save to keep the game scoreless.
The Trojans would trade shots on goal to start the second half before Ohio Dominican would score the first goal 20 minutes into the second half. The Trojans would respond with two shots before they would respond and tie the game less than two minutes later. The teams would trade shots before Ohio Dominican's Jacob Gruber would score off of a scramble in front of the Trojans net that was a result of a corner kick with just over six minutes left in the game. The Trojans would have a few shots but were unable to tie the game.
