Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (4-6-1, 3-5-1 Great Midwest) fell to Lake Erie College (8-3-1, 7-2 Great Midwest) 3-1 at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

THE SERIES
Lake Erie has the all-time lead now 3-1 with the last game being a 1-0 win for the Trojans in Painesville on March 27th.
THE MATCH
Looking to continue their positive play, the Trojans traveled to Ohio to take on Lake Erie College, a very formidable opponent. Their 6-2 record in the G-MAC showed that they would be tough to play. That showed just 15 minutes into the game when Lake Erie scored the first goal of the game. The Trojans would stay resilient however and would counterattack and Jacob Sieber would score his second goal of the season and tie the game up 1-1 with 16 minutes left in the first half. The Trojans would be oushot 8-6 in the first half.
Lake Erie would take back momentum and retook the lead just 3 minutes into the second half. They would keep the pressure up on Trevecca throughout the second half. Lake Erie would put the game out of reach with a late goal to make the game 3-1. Both teams would have six shots in the second half, but Trevecca was unable to score.
