THE MATCH
Light rain sprinkled the pitch for parts of the match which saw the Cavaliers earn three points. Walsh's Alex Jackson collected the first of his two goals at the 21:38 mark in the first half. Jackson's goal was assisted by Jake Cunningham. The first half goal remained the score for the next 50 minutes. The Cavs managed three goals in eight minutes in the second half to receive the victory. Jackson connected off a pass from Wesley Burton for a goal at 77:17. The Cavaliers then scored twice in 33 seconds. First, Ian Quinn scored at 85:26 and then Myles Cornwall finished the scoring at 85:59, both goals unassisted.

The Trojans fall to the bottom of the G-MAC table by losing their fourth consecutive conference contest.

The Trojans close the week with a meeting against Alderson Broaddus University (5-7-1, 4-5-1 Great Midwest) on Saturday at 3:00 PM. The Battlers own a 6-3 all-time after handing the Trojans a 6-0 result last season.
