Neither team took more than a three-point lead in the first set … the teams traded points most of the way and the Trojans took control for good off a kill by Austyn Baldwin … an attacking error from the Senators gave the Trojans the first set, 28-26 … in set two the Trojans jumped out to an 8-4 lead … TNU maintained its four point advantage when Madison Martin's kill put the Trojans up 13-9 … the Senators drew within two at 17-15 in the second set … the Trojans responded with a 7-3 run to close the set and won the second set, 25-18 … the third set stayed close for most of the early stages … the Trojans established their first lead at 12-8 after taking four points in a row … TNU went on another 4-0 run after allowing one point, the lead was then 16-9 … the Trojans then surrendered two more points (16-11) before going on a 5-0 run (21-11) … TNU held their 10 points lead by winning the set 25-15.
