NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (3-2-1, 2-2-0 G-MAC) defeated the University of Findlay (2-4-0, 2-1-0 G-MAC) 3-1 at the Trojan Soccer Complex on Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY

Trevecca and Findlay battled twice last season, both times the Oilers getting the better of the Trojans. Tonight the Trojans claimed their first victory in the series.

GAME DETAILS

The Trojans and Oilers played to a 0-0 draw in the first 45 minutes of action … Ethan Keogh (SR/Athlone, Ireland) got things started in the second half … Keogh scored at 48:38 off a pass from Nicolas Reinhard (SR/Heiligkreuzsteinach, Germany) … Keogh now has three goals on the season … at 56:06 Reinhard found the back of the net, off a pass from Armando Molina (FR/Antioch, TN) … Reinhard's goal was his third of the season, the assist, Molina's second … Cillian Farmer (FR/Glanmire, Ireland) gave the Trojans a 3-0 lead a few minutes later … Farmer got his first collegiate goal assisted by Reinhard … the Trojan surrendered a goal at 73:55, but finished the match strong … the win was the Trojans first ever against Findlay.

Nicolas Reinhard collected a goal and two assists … Reinhard now has three goals and three assists on the season … Reinhard's nine points are a team best.

The Trojans challenge Kentucky Wesleyan (0-0, 0-0 G-MAC) next Wednesday, September 19^th at 6:00 PM in Owensboro, Kentucky.
