 NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Trevecca Nazarene University Men's Soccer team (2-3-2, 2-2-1  G-MAC) lost 3-1 against Walsh University (4-3-1, 3-2 G-MAC) in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match played at Milazzo Field on Thursday.

Trevecca 1, Walsh 3

WU struck first with a goal in the 14th minute from Gary Canam to take a 1-0 lead … TNU got the equalizer in the 22nd minute from Victor Tsado (SR/Nashville, TN) for a 1-1 tie … the 37th minute Myles Cornwall put in the go-ahead goal for Walsh … Canam put in his second goal of the game in the 86th minute to give Walsh a 3-1 win.  

 

TOP TROJANS

Victor Tsado had the lone goal for the Trojans, it is his second of the season … Trojan keeper, Tyler Delgado (SO/Spring Hill, TN) made four saves. Delgado is now 2-3-2 this season.

Trevecca had nine shots, three of which were on goal ... Walsh players combined for 18 shots of which seven were on goal ... TNU had five corners 

 

WHAT'S NEXT

Trevecca continues Great Midwest play on the road Saturday, Sept. 23 at 2:30 PM when they collide with conference foe Malone University (1-5, 1-4 G-MAC). This will be the third NCAA era meeting between the two teams. Trevecca leads the series 2-0 winning both games last year.
