CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (3-5-2, 3-4-1 G-MAC) lost 3-1 at Cedarville University (6-5, 5-3 G-MAC) in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match played at Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex on Saturday.

Trevecca 1, Cedarville 3

The Trojans and Yellow Jackets would play to a 0-0 draw in the first half of Saturday's Great Midwest Athletic Conference match. Cedarville's Alexander Narog would break the tie in the 55th minute. Cedarville would extend the lead in the 67th minute when Derek Braak beat Trojan goalie, Tyler Delgado (SO/Spring Hill, TN). John Schwien of Cedarville would score in the 79th minute to increase the Yellow Jackets lead to 3-0. The Trojans wouldn't leave Ohio empty handed however, Frank Down (SR/Ballincollg, Ireland) scored for the Trojans in the 84th minute. Down's goal was assisted by Nicolas Reinhard (JR/Heiligkreuzsteinach, Germany).

Frank Down had the Trojans only goal …  Nicolas Reinhard picked up the assist ... Trojan keeper, Tyler Delgado made four saves and got the win. Delgado is now 3-5-2 this season.

Trevecca will be back at Trojan Soccer Complex for Great Midwest play on Oct. 7 at 4:30 PM when they collide with new conference foe Lake Erie College (4-6, 3-5 G-MAC). This will be the first NCAA era meeting between the two teams.
