Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (3-5-1, 1-3-1 G-MAC) beat Shorter University Hawks (1-4, 0-0 GSC) 3-2 at the Trojan Soccer Complex. This is Trevecca's first win in program history over the Hawks.

The Trojans scored their first goal at the 44th minute (43:20) when Nicholas Reinhard scored on a cross from Jeremiah Wright (SR/Columbia, TN).

In the 54th minute (53:31) the Hawks scored the equalizer on a pass from Phillip Middlecamp to Darwin Lom.

Trevecca regained the lead in the 66th minute after the Hawk keeper blocked a penalty kick awarded to Nicolas Reinhard (SO/Heiligkreuzsteinach, Germany), but the rebound was finished by Frank Down (JR/Ballincollg, Ireland) to the back of the nets. Down's goal gave the Trojans the lead back at 2-1. It is Down's first career goal.

The Trojans got the game winner in the 72nd minute (71:40) when Kevin Pierce (FR/Franklin, TN) passed to Jeremiah Wright. Wright scored a fantastic goal, giving the Trojans a 3-1 lead. It is Wright's second goal of the year and now has five assists.

In the final minute (89:48) Darwin Lom added another goal for the Hawks for the final goal of the game.
