The Trojans now lead the all-time series 2-1-2 with the Chargers. The last meeting, also a season opening match, ended in a 1-1 draw in Nashville

Trevecca returns to Nashville to prepare for their home opener on Monday at 2 PM. The Labor Day non-conference tilt is the second meeting in the series. TNU defeated SIU 2-0 in their only other meeting in 2014. The teams were scheduled to play in 2015, but weather forced cancellation of the meeting.Â

Tyler Delgado (FR/Spring Hill, TN) made it standup collecting his first career win in his first career game.Â

Delgado is the younger brother of Trevecca alum Javier Delgado. Huntsville produced 22 shots with 15 coming in the second half.Â

Jeremiah Wright (SR/Columbia, TN) to left of the box and placed it in the bottom left of the goal in the 10th minute. In the 31st minute
Jake Singer (JR/Donelson, TN) scored on a header off a corner kick from
Jordan Gilmore (SR/Portadown, Northern Ireland) to put the Trojans up 2-0 heading to the break.Â

UAH solved the Trojan defense in the 68th minute on a goal after a helper from a Hermann Bjornsson.Â
