Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (1-3-1, 0-1-1 G-MAC)Â was defeated 3-1 by Lee University (4-3) at the Trojan Soccer Complex.

The Trojans are now 0-6-2 against the Flames in the all-time series.

Both teams played a defensive game in the first half until the Flames struck with two quick goals before halftime. The first Flames goal was at 35:48 when David Perez got a pass from Jose Orellana to score the first goal. The Flames got a goal about a minute later to go up 2-0 when Tanner Carter put one in the back of the net.

The Flames came out of halftime with a quick goal at 47:16 when Quade Marinell scored on a pass back from Drew Jackson to put the Flames up 3-0.

The Trojans answered with a goal for themselves at 89:45 to avoid the shutout. Baylor McKay got a corner kick from Danny Martinez to put the Trojans on the board.

Lee dominated the shots with a 23-7 advantage while both teams had five corner kicks. Jonas Loock played in goal for the Trojans with six saves.

Trevecca returns to action with a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match on Thursday at 7:30 PM when new G-MAC member Malone University (1-2-1, 0-1-1 G-MAC) visits for the first-ever meeting between the two schools.Â
