GREENVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (4-5-1, 2-3-1 G-MAC) lost 2-0 at tenth-ranked Tusculum College Pioneers Tuesday night at Pioneer Field.

Georgios Charkoutsakis scored the game winner for Tusculum on a pass from Tyler Linkous in the 30th minute (29:23) for a 1-0 Pioneer lead. In the 46th minute Andreas Kvam got the second goal for the Pioneers to give them a 2-0 lead. The Pioneers tied their school-record with their 10th consecutive win to start the season.

The Pioneers finished with a 17-4 edge in shots and a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks over the Trojans.

Jonas Loock (FR/Wolfsburg, Germany) got the start in goal for Trevecca as 10 Pioneer shots were on goal as he saved eight shots on the day.

The Trojans are 0-1 overall against the Pioneers all-time. The loss breaks a two-match win streak for the Trojans.

The next match for the Trojans is on the road at Great Midwest Athletic Conference newcomer Malone University Pioneers (1-7-2, 0-5-1 G-MAC) at 3 PM on Saturday in Canton, OH. Trevecca is 1-0 versus the Pioneers all-time winning their last match 3-0 on September 15th earlier this year at Trevecca.
