CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Trevecca (0-1) lost 4-0 to Shorter University (1-0) at the Lee University Olive Garden Invitational onÂ Friday atÂ the Lee Soccer Field.Â

Shorter tucked away a 1-0 lead at half when Darwin Lom scored on an assist from Nico Stutley in the 44th minute. Â

The Trojans gave up the second goal in the 57th minute when Fernando De Barros scored.Â

The Purple and White were in touch until late when Charlie Dennis scored twice, first in the 78th minute and again in the 81st.Â

Trevecca amassed 16 shots with five of those coming on goal. Daniel Mudd (JR/Shelbyville, TN) played on 90 minutes in goal with two saves.Â

The Eagles had 14 shots and six on goal. Â Austin Trevers had five saves in the shutout.Â
