Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-7, 4-5 G-MAC) lost at home to Cederville University (11-3-1, 8-2 G-MAC) 3-1 at the Trojan Soccer Complex on Saturday.

Trevecca hosts Georgetown College (3-8) next on Tuesday at 6 PM. Trevecca leads the series with the Tigers 1-0-1.Â

Cedarville is 8-0-1 against the Trojans all-time. The tie in the series came at Cedarville, a 2-2 game September 18, 2014.Â

Cedarville scored two in the first half and each team tallied a goal in the second.

In the 15th minutes (15:07) the Yellow Jackets scored the first goal when Joe Davison scored unassisted.Â

CU struck again in the 29th minute (29:15) when Connor Gilmour scored his 14th goal of the year unassisted.Â

Neither team could find the nets again until Trevecca's
Jake Singer (SO/Donelson, TN) followed a
Jeremiah Wright (JR/Columbia, TN) shot, that was tipped by
Ryan Hogan (JR/Ballincollig, Ireland), for a goal in the 79th minute (79:56) that put the Trojans on the board and gave the Trojans new life. For Singer it is his second goal of the year. Hogan picked up his second assist and Wright contributed his third.Â

Cedarville answered quickly to regain the security of a two-goal lead when Joel Twinem scored in the 80th minute (80:38).Â

Stephen Sherer (SO/Medina, TN) saved five in goal for the Trojans in goal while Graham Sachtleben and Paulo Pinto played a half each for the Yellow Jackets. Paulo had a clean sheet in his 45 minutes, but Sachtleben allowed the Trojan goal, but had two saves.Â
