Trevecca will visit Lee University where they'll play the University of Alabama in Huntsville at 2 PM and Lee University at 4 PM. The Trojans have a loss on their ledger to UAH and LU in their first meetings of the year with the two schools. Trevecca is 0-3 all-time versus UAH and are 1-16 in the last 17 meetings with Lee.ÂÂ

The Trojans are winding down a road trip that includes 12 road games and only one home game.ÂÂ

The Trojans are 7-2 over their last nine matches and are winners in there last two meetings. All but one of those has been on the road, so the Trojans are 6-2 in their last eight road games.

Katelyn played at an amazing level, Alex Reuter followed closely and earned the mental toughness award, and Allison Boe turned in a 19 dig performance."ÂÂ

Trevecca leads the series 6-2 with the Mighty Oaks and have won the last five in the series. Trevecca won the first meeting this year in Nashville at the Scott Jones Classic.ÂÂ

The key moment of the first set came with Trevecca trailing 19-17 and they produced a sideout before Stephanie Brouchard served six time and the Trojans picked up five points and took the lead for good at 22-19. Atkinson had 10 kills in the first set and
Loren Bennett (SR/Ooltewah, TN) had 17 assists.ÂÂ

Trevecca opened the match with a 5-1 advantage, but the Mighty Oaks produced a run that put them ahead 10-9. The match remained close till the end when OCU pulled ahead for two-point 25-23 victory.

The Trojans controlled the final two sets after getting off to a 5-2 and 9-3 respectively and never looked back.ÂÂ

As a team Trevecca had a .277 attack percentage for the match and a .450 attack percentage in the third set. They had 10 kills and only one error in 20 total attacks. The fourth and deciding set was nearly as productive with a .438 attack percentage with 16 kills and only two errors in 32 tries.ÂÂ

Katelyn Atkinson (JR/Hermitage, TN) delivered 27 kills and a .340 attack percentage to lead the way for the visiting Trojans.

Alex Reuter (FR/Brentwood, TN) added 12 kills and a .435 attack percentage. The freshmen had seven blocks.ÂÂ

Zakia Jackson (SR/Hermitage, TN) had seven kills with a .462 attack percentage and added five blocks.ÂÂ

There were four Trojans in double figures in digs. Bennett added 10 for a double-double. Atkinson also had a double-double with 12 digs.
