NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Trevecca men's soccer (2-4-1) were not able to stop 2013 NCAA DII runner up Carson-Newman (2-3), falling 7-0 at home.

The Trojans will play again Saturday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Trojan Soccer complex against conference opponent Kentucky Wesleyan College.

The Eagles broke the 0-0 tie in the sixth minute off of a corner that ended up with a header in the goal. Carson-Newman would rally for six in the first half.

The Eagles out-shot the Trojans 18-7. Braydon Brown (SR/Brownsburg, Ind.) was forced to make four saves in his 77 minutes of work before being replaced by Stephen Sherer (FR/Medina, Tenn.).

Four members of the Trojan staff played the entire 90 minutes; Liam Roche (SO/Northhampton, England), Baylor McKay (SO/Brentwood, Tenn.), Ryan Walls (JR/Colorado Springs, Colo.), and Noah Mudd (FR/Shelbyville, Tenn.).
