Box Score VIENNA, W.Va. – Trevecca (14-13, 5-4 G-MAC) lost on the road at Ohio Valley University (20-9, 7-2 G-MAC) in four sets, 25-21, 17-25, 10-25, 17-25. OVU leads the all-time series 2-1 over the Trojans.

Trevecca will play at Salem International University (4-18, 1-8 G-MAC) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. It will be the first meeting in program history for the Trojans and Tigers.

Trevecca won the first set 25-21, but could not overcome a hot start for the Tigers in set two. The Tigers dominated set three and held off the Trojans in the fourth set 25-17 for the victory.

No Trojan reached double-figures in kills, but Loren Bennett (JR/Ooltewah, Tenn.) had a .357 attach percentage with six kills and just one error in 14 tries. Bennett added 22 assists and 11 digs for the double-double. The junior also shined serving with three aces. Kayleigh Jarrett (SO/Tehachapi, Calif.) added 14 digs and had six assists. Kirsten Taylor (SR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) (10), Katelyn Atkinson (SO/Hermitage, Tenn.) (13), and Ashleigh Lozier (FR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) (12) all added double digit digs.

As a team the Trojans struggled on the attack, especially after the first set. Trevecca hit .156 in the first (12-7-32), but managed to hit just .046 (34-27-152) for the match.

Trevecca won the first meeting with OVU in 2013 on a neutral court at the G-MAC Crossover, but have lost the last two, both at OVU. Tonight's match is the only regular season contest scheduled for the two schools this year.
