Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-9-1, 3-4-1 G-MAC) finished up its Great Midwest Athletic Conference schedule with a 7-2 loss to Cedarville University (10-4-2, 6-0-1 G-MAC) at the Trojan Soccer Complex. Despite the loss, the Trojans have still qualified for the G-MAC postseason tournament. Cedarville has clinched the Southwest Division title and will be the top overall seed in the conference tournament.

The Trojans will conclude their regular season Tuesday night at 7:30pm at the Trojan Soccer Complex against Lincoln Memorial University (7-3-3, 4-2-3 South Atlantic Conference).

The Yellow Jackets scored early and often, putting the Trojans in a 3-0 hole in the first half as junior forward Connor Gilmour netted a hat trick in the first 30:09 of the match. Trevecca forward
Juan Egas (SR/Quito, Ecuador) got the Trojans on the board late in the first half, scoring his third goal of the season at the 43:59 mark.

But a second half onslaught by Cedarville's Christian Alexander removed any doubt. The junior forward scored four goals in a span of 7:35 early in the second half, giving him 10 for the season.Â
