Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (12-8, 4-1 G-MAC) prevailed over Davis & Elkins College (4-9, 1-5 G-MAC) Saturday afternoon inside the Trojan Fieldhouse. The Trojans picked up the hard-earned victory in four sets, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22, 25-20. "It was nice to get this win," said Trojan head coach
Jayme Crowley. "We had to go deeper than we normally might, because we had a couple of players a little off, but I'm pleased with the win."

Trevecca will play the last of seven consecutive matches at home Tuesday night, when they welcome Alabama-Huntsville (10-7) to the Trojan Fieldhouse. The two teams played back on September 6th in the Huntsville Marriott UAH Classic at Spragins Hall, with the Chargers coming away with a 3-1 victory.

Katelyn Atkinson (SO/Hermitage, Tenn.) led the way for the Trojan attack, recording 17 kills in 33 attempts with only five errors, good for a .364 hitting percentage. The sophomore added 13 digs, a service ace, and a block assist.

Senior
Cara Trunnell (SR/Jasper, Ala.) and junior
Zakia Jackson (JR/Hermitage, Tenn.) added seven kills apiece, with junior
Delaney Hearne (JR/San Marcos, Tex.) adding six and freshman
Stephanie Bouchard (FR/Chattanooga, Tenn.) five. Junior
Loren Bennett (JR/Ooltewah, Tenn.) notched 36 assists in the match, and added 12 digs, three kills, and one block assist.

"Cara had a phenomenal match, probably the best all-around match of her career," added Coach Crowley. "Zakia had a lot of energy and passion, and really came through receiving serves for us, which is not something she normally does. And
Hayden McKay (SR/Brentwood, Tenn.) came in and did a great job serving as well."

Sixteen service errors proved to be a major issue for the Senators, who were led by sophomore Alexis Mourier's 18 kills.
