NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca (5-0) remained undefeated with a 3-0 (25-9, 25-19, 25-12) victory over Brescia University (0-4) at the Trojan Fieldhouse on Friday. Shelby Sorce led the way with nine kills, no attack errors and a .562 attack percentage. Sorce also added two service aces and six digs.

Persephonie Devereaux added eight kills while Allison Boe had six. Caroline Gay led the team with 20 assists, six digs, and two service aces. Loren Bennett led the team with 18 digs.

As a team the Trojans produced an impressive .341 attack percentage with 41 kills and 11 errors in 88 total attack opportunities. The best set was the third when the Trojans had 18 kills and one error in 30 attempts.

Trevecca will host Kentucky Wesleyan College (1-3) on Tuesday (9/11) at 7 p.m. The Panthers are members of the G-MAC, but their matches won't count toward the conference standings until next season. They are finishing their last season in the GLVC. KWC is located in Owensboro, Ky. The Cougars have four more matches before they come to Trevecca on Tuesday.
