Box Score NASHVILLE – Zachary Harris headed home a corner kick in the 85th minute to lift Cedarville University (11-1-1, 1-0 G-MAC) to a 1-0 win over Trevecca Nazarene University (7-5, 1-2 G-MAC) Saturday night in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference men's soccer match at the TNU Soccer Complex.

The Yellow Jackets' defense held the Trojans to just two shots throughout the match.

Trevecca's only shot on goal came in the 44th minute as defender Ryan Walls fired a shot that was saved by Cedarville's Ethan Dewhurst.

Cedarville took nine shots in the first half along with five corners.

In the second half, Richie Reichenberger fired a shot in the 61st minute that was blocked by a Yellow Jacket defender. It would be the final shot taken by the Trojans.

Harris' goal late in the match would be all the scoring CU would need to win its third consecutive match.

Trevecca's Daniel Mudd started in goal and collected six saves. Dewhurst saved one shot for Cedarville.

The Trojans return to action Oct. 19 as they host Brescia University at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match.
