Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca volleyball team (1-1) picked up its first win of the season Saturday morning, defeating Kentucky Christian University (2-3) 25-22, 23-25, 25-14, 25-21 in the opening game of day two of the 2nd Annual Scott Jones Classic.
Sophomore
Brittany Eller led the attack, recording 21 kills and a .545 attack percentage. Eller also added nine digs and four assists. Junior
Jenna Robertson added 10 kills and four solo blocks. Senior Halley White racked up 39 assists to go along with 10 digs and seven kills, and fellow senior
Haley White led the way in digs with 21. Freshman
Kirsten Taylor also played a solid all-around match, totaling 16 digs, nine kills, and two assists.
The Trojans still have two more matches remaining in SJC play. They will take on Mid-Continent (0-6) at 1 p.m. and then conclude the tournament with a 5 p.m. match against Cumberland University (5-3).
