Box Score 2 BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - The Trojan volleyball team (8-7, 2-0 TranSouth) dropped its final two matches Saturday at the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Olivet Nazarene University, falling to the host Tigers (9-4) 3-0 (16-25, 21-25, 16-25) and to NAIA No. 22 Indiana-East (15-3) 3-0 (14-25, 21-25, 18-25). The losses extend the team's losing streak to five games.
Sophomore
Kristen Johnson led the Trojans with six kills in the Olivet match, with senior setter
Halley Wiggins posting 16 assists, eight digs, and three kills. Sophomore
Brittany Eller led Trevecca with 10 digs, and added three kills.
In the IU-East match, sophomore
Persephonie Devereaux led the way with seven kills, while Eller added six kills and five digs. Wiggins dished out 24 assists, and chipped in with seven digs. Senior
Haley White led the Trojans with 12 digs, and also added two service aces.
Trevecca's
Persephonie Devereaux, who totaled 11 kills in 23 attempts and added three digs, one solo block, and one block assist, was named to the All-Tournament team.
The Trojans return home to host Cumberland (8-10, 2-1 TranSouth) Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
