Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca volleyball team (16-13, 8-4 TranSouth) dropped a 3-1 decision to TranSouth Conference leader Bethel (15-11, 11-1) Tuesday night at Moore Gym, falling 22-25, 25-22, 19-25, 23-25. The win gives the Wildcats a season sweep of the Trojans.

"We played better against them this time," said Head Coach Jayme Crowley. "But they are a good team that just simply made the plays when they need to in order to come away with the win."

The Trojans actually had a 51-50 edge in kills, but committed 32 errors on the attack, compared with only 21 for Bethel.

Brittany Eller led Trevecca with 14 kills, and added 20 digs and one block assist. Jenna Robertson added 11 kills, and chipped in one dig, one assist, and one block assist.

Halley Wiggins tallied 39 assists, and also added 15 digs and six kills. Kristen Johnson led the Trojans in digs with 25, and also contributed nine digs, five assists, and one service ace.

"Bethel did a great job tonight," added Coach Crowley. "But to me, the difference is that they believe they can find a way to win, whereas we doubt ourselves and wonder whether we really can win or not sometimes. We're getting there, and I'm proud of the effort, but we've still got a ways to go."
 
The Trojans will host Union (10-19, 5-6) Thursday at 6 p.m. Saturday, it's Senior Day at Moore Gym, as the Trojans host Lyon (12-18, 3-9). Seniors Halley Wiggins and Haley White will be honored prior to the match.
